The OMT (online Merch Table) is a portable store module that is free with your
nimbit account.

The OMT can be installed onto any site in which you have access to the html,
including web pages and blogs, and can be installed onto MySpace and Facebook.

You can select to sell your music, post your events, display you bio and allow
visitors to sign up for your mailing list, and even grab a copy of the code
to place your OMT on to their websites.

In paid accounts you call also sell cds merchandise and clothing.

To begin setup of your OMT, click the My Store tab on your Dashboard.

On the right hand side is your OMT. Note that this is not just a preview of
your OMT. It is the actual live module. What you see there is what appears on
every instance of your OMT.

On the left side are the <i>feature controls</i> that can appear
on your OMT.

They are:

Music Sales- Select this to sell any music you have setup in your
catalog

autoplay- Select this to have your samples play automatically when
anyone visits the store

sell merch- Select this to sell any clothing or merchandise items
in your catalog that are not music products. This is available only in free
accounts.

'add product'- You can use this link to go directly into the product
setup window in your catalog. Useful if you are trying to set up the OMT before
any products have been entered.

calendar- Select this to list your dates and sell tickets

bio- Select to display your artist bio. If you have not set up your
bio yet, or want to change it, click the 'add bio' link and fill in the information.
Click upload photo if you have not yet uploaded or want to change your artist
photo.

collect email- Select this to place a mailing list signup form on
your OMT for visitors to subscribe to your list.

share store- Select this to provide visitors and fans the chance to
grab the code for your OMT so that they can place it on their sites too.

The OMT is dynamically driven from the nimbit servers, which means that whenever
you make a change to your catalog or to the OMT itself, the changes take place
immediately in every location in which the OMT is installed.
